UZ-2011/40 Universal Ballistic Breech

PROTOTYPA UZ-2011/40 Universal Ballistic Breech (Receiver) is universal receiver for testing of ammunition of cal. 40 x 46 mm LV and cal. 40 x 53mm HV.

UZ-2011/40 supports EPVAT (Electronic Pressure, Velocity and Action Time) or Precision test procedure.

UZ-2011/40 is convenient receiver for testing of cartridges in accordance with STANAG 4745 and STANAG 4403.

Main features of UZ-2011/40:

• Supports test barrels (EPVAT, Pressure, Velocity or Accuracy) for testing of cartridges in cal. 40 mm - Grenade.
• Mechanism for cartridge locking is a bolt system. This system allowed manual extraction of cartridge case after shot.
• Headspace is set and checked by GO and NOGO gauges. Regulation of firing pin protrusion.
• Mechanical or electromagnetic firing mechanism with remote fire control. Remote control can be equipped with door sensor (for electromagnetic firing only).
• The UZ-2011/40 has no recoil system. For proper function is recommended to use recoil adapter STZA 11M1 (M2) or firing rest STZA 40 where is present recoil system.
• Exchangeable sets for calibres 40 x 46 mm LV; 40 x 53 mm HV.
• T groves on receiver body for fixture aiming laser, crusher pressure sensors, muzzle clamp, cables holders, etc.
• In the case of a cartridge misfire, the firing mechanism can re-cock and fire without unlocking the breech.
• For comfortable bolt opening the lever could be applied.
• On top of the receiver body is place for placing of artillery quadrant to high elevations setting.
