STZA 40 Firing Rest

PROTOTYPA STZA 40 Firing Rest (see technical drawing bellow) is determined as a base for tightening of Universal ballistic receiver UZ-2011/40 or similar from production of Prototypa-ZM company. The firing rest is equipped by recoil system and by elevation possibility up to 45°. High elevation angle allows to fire grenade launcher cartridges at maximal reachable distances. STZA 40 Firing rest is suitable especially for firing of 40 mm grenades (40 x 46mm LV or 40 x 53mm HV).

STZA 40 is universal stand equipped by clamping rails with 230 mm pitch for tightening of various Prototypa firing equipment.

From STZA 40 could be fired cartridges up to cal. 12,7 x 99 mm.

Main features of STZA 40:

  • It is possible to fix on STZA 40 various firing equipment (e.g. Universal receivers UZ-2011, UZ-2011/40, UZ-2002).
  • Stepless setting of elevation angle with a fixing at the set position.
  • Inbuilt recoil system up to cal. 12,7 x 99 mm (40 x 46 mm LV and 40 x 53 mm HV included). Return to initial position is controlled by a damper.
  • Space for mounting of Electronic box for operation of used Universal receiver (Electronic box is not a part of STZA 40).
