RRM Reloading Robotic Machine

PROTOTYPA RRM Reloading Robotic Machine is a movable device for reloading of cartridges of cal. 12,7 x 99; 12,7 x 108 or 14,5 x 114.

Main purpose of this device is to change of cartridge propellant weight with the target to change the bullet velocity for ballistic tests of protective materials. For example, the determination of velocity V50 according to STANAG 2920, the evaluating of the protection level of material according to AEP-55 Volume 1, etc.

RRM is operated remotely due to safety requirements of reloading process. From a safety point of view is big advantage that main parts of device are powered by pressed air. This fact allows that the RRM can work in explosive environment.

The machine is able to work in two modes:

  • bullet pull out of cartridge, change propellent, bullet press down into cartridge case.
  • bullet pull out of cartridge, change propellent, change bullet and bullet press down into cartridge case.
  • It is possible to work with brass cartridge cases as well as with steel cartridge cases.

  • RRM contains turn table with holders for cartridges of cal. 12,7 x 99; 12,7 x 108; 14,5 x 114.
  • Whole device is moveable.
  • Main parts of device are powered by pressed air.
  • Device is partly automated.
  • The process can be operated remotely for better protection of operator.
  • Device can be used for reloading, gun powder or bullet exchange or for cartridge assembly.
  • The type of process is chosen by operator on remote control panel.
  • It is designed for indoor usage.
