POTSS-2021 Optical Target Scoring Systems
PROTOTYPA POTSS-2021 Optical Target Scoring Systems – is designed to record the position of projectile going through its active area. POTSS-2021 is able to register single shots or projectiles shot in burst. POTSS-2021 calculates X-Y coordinates of hits and consequently the statistics values of measured group of rounds. The results are displayed at the screen of personal computer with BMS software.
The basic components of system POTSS are two high speed image sensors, LED sources mounted on inside part of frame. When the bullet is passing through the active area, the light beam is shortly interrupted and narrow shadow appears on both sensors. The position of shadow is dependent on the position of the bullet. The captured image data are subsequently processed by the software and the position of hit is evaluated.
