LS-06 Intelligent Light Gates (Single or Double)
PROTOTYPA LS-06 Intelligent Light Gates – is device designated to measure the velocity of shot projectile going through active area of both light gates. LS-06 can measure the velocity of single shot or velocities of projectiles in burst and rate of fire. LS‑06 records all measured values and consequently calculates the statistics values of measured group of rounds. The results are displayed on the screen of personal computer with BMS software.
LS-06 is appropriate device for testing of cartridges according to MC MOPI AEP‑97, C.I.P., SAAMI, MIL, GOST, TPVD or other standards.
LS-06 is convenient equipment for personal armour testing (AEP-2920, NIJ 0101.06, VPAM) or protection level armoured vehicles evaluation (AEP-55).
LS-06 double represents two independent velocity measurement systems. The light gates LS-06 double consists of four light gates placed on one frame. Final velocity of projectile is calculated as arithmetical average of two independent measured velocities (NIJ 0101.06).
Main features of LS-06:
- Device measures bullet velocity of individual shot or rate of fire and velocity of each bullet in burst. Device is easily mobile.
- The size and specifications of the light gates can be customized on request.
- Device is controlled by PC computer (or laptop). Interface is Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi connection.
- Uses friendly BMS software supports other Prototypa ballistic measurement devices with automatic data export.
- BMS software shows graph of bullet passage throw gates.
- SAU-2UT (SAU-4UT for double gates) electronic box with programable trigger output for X-ray, high speed camera, etc.
