BP-1 Bullet Pull Tester

bp1

PROTOTYPA BP-1 Bullet Pull Tester is intended for measuring of bullet pull force from cartridge case up to 2500 N. Bullet pull velocity is adjustable. On the BP-1 is possible to test bullet pull force of cartridges for small arm weapons (calibres from 4,5 mm to 11,43 mm).

BP-1 consists of:

  • Universal motoric test stand MULTITEST – dV.
  • Digital force gauge AFG 2500N.
  • Bullet pull collet assembly (base assembly and cartridge case holder included).

Universal motoric test stand MULTITEST - dV is used for digital gauge AFG 2500 N tightening and offers controlled vertical movement. Extreme positions of crosshead are stopped by upper and lower limit stops which could be adjusted.

Digital force gauge AFG 2500 N is used for force (pull, press) measuring and recording acting on its force sensor.

Bullet pull collet is screwed on digital force gauge interface and is used for clamping bullets. Bottom of cartridge case is tightened in cartridge case holder fixed on base. Bullet is trapped by two side exchangeable blades which hold the bullet during test.

Main features of BP-1:

  • Simple and quick inserting of cartridges into Bullet pull collet.
  • Programmable cross head.
  • Data transfer from force gauge to PC.
  • Mechanism for prevention force overload.
